ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE

Pittsburgh, PA | Full-Time | Onsite

Our client is seeking an Accounting Associate to assist their accounting department with daily and month-end functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow their accounting career. With a few upcoming retirements in the department, this role offers a clear path for advancement over the next year.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Associate :

Reconcile multiple bank accounts and resolve discrepancies

The Accounting Associate will maintain and update Excel spreadsheets for payroll hours, insurance, and cash flow

Assist with account analyses, reclassifications, and month-end reporting

The Accounting Associate will support fixed asset tracking and quarterly depreciation calculations

Help with corporate filings, petty cash audits, and other accounting projects as assigned

Qualifications of the Accounting Associate Role :

Associate's degree or equivalent accounting experience preferred

Understanding of general ledger entries and reconciliation processes

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
