Responsibilities to be Taught to the Cash Applications Specialist :

Sorting, scanning, and processing incoming mail

Receiving wires and ACH payments, researching and reconciling where necessary

After initial training, learning transfers and processing voids

Assisting with ad hoc projects to support the accounting department

Background Expected of the Cash Applications Specialist :

2+ years of experience in an office setting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, or cash processing responsibilities

Experience with a major ERP or database

Ability to learn new processes and adapt to new software
