About The Position

If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Evansville, IN this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities :

  • Provide intermediate-level care to patients transitioning from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to general medical-surgical units.
  • Administer and manage medications, including IV drips, anticoagulants, and pain management protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Operate and manage medical equipment such as telemetry monitors, infusion pumps, and oxygen therapy devices.

Qualifications :

  • IN Registered Nurse license
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification preferred
