job_description.job_card.job_descriptionEntry-level position working under supervision to deliver specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology services to adult and / or pediatric patients. Provides safe, high quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care under routine or emergent conditions in various care settings including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic / urgent care centers, and remote statewide outreach clinics. Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician orders. Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team to achieve clinical outcomes and operational goals. Utilizes specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and / or surgical procedures. Conducts post-procedure review to ensure completion, documentation, and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards. Transfers images and data to archival systems, enters technical data / findings, and prepares studies for physician reporting. Performs operator-level quality control, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines. Participates in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies and improve care. Entry-level knowledge, abilities, and skills in cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology. Ability to perform responsibilities with or without accommodation.
