Job Duties
Assist orthodontists in providing patient care and treatmentPrepare patients for procedures and treatmentsTake dental x-rays and accurate orthodontic records (photos and intraoral scans)Assist with infection control protocols and sterilization of instrumentsProvide chairside assistance during orthodontic proceduresEducate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment careMaintain accurate medical documentation and patient recordsCollaborate with the orthodontic team to ensure smooth workflowSkills
Proficient in dental assisting techniques and proceduresKnowledge of infection control protocols and practicesFamiliarity with orthodontic equipment and instrumentsAbility to take dental X-rays and intraoral scansExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational abilitiesBasic knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and orthodonticsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentDesired Profile / Background
MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.OA / RDA License by Dental BoardAn upbeat personality is a MUST.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.High school diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend.Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments used during dental procedures.Job Type :
