Description : We are looking for caregivers who are interested in working a Day shift with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. All day shifts start at 7am
We provide 75 hours of paid training by experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting individuals with their personal care- bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting / personal hygiene
- Daily tasks include light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping the home comfortable and safe
- Plan meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving meals / snacks
- Accompany individuals to scheduled medical appointments
- Accompany individuals on fun community activities (movies, swimming, bowling, trips to the beach, shopping at the mall, etc.)
- Assist individuals with self-administration of medications
- Document services provided using computer
