Job Description :

BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Engineer - Roadway to join our team. In this role you will get to support roadway design and Temporary Traffic Control Plan (TTCP) development under the supervision of a licensed engineer by preparing plans, 3D models, and reports, managing assigned tasks, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to both technical and professional development efforts.

What You'll Be Doing

• Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations and drawings for Expressway / Limited-Access facilities and Arterial / Local roads using DOT and / or local jurisdiction criteria
• Develop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and / or Open Roads
• Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems
• Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer
• May track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designers
• Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasks
• Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties
• Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns
• Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports
• Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals

Salary Range : $26.25 - $45.96
