JOB STATEMENT
The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting physicians in delivering clinical services to patients under frequent supervision.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepares and maintains examination rooms and medical instruments.
- Conducts patient intakes, screenings, and assists physicians during exams.
- Records patient history, explains procedures, and facilitates communication.
- Administers medications, injections, and performs phlebotomy.
- Handles lab specimens and performs point-of-care testing.
- Manages scheduling, documentation, and general office duties.
- Completes additional tasks as assigned by management.
