As a Service Lane Manager you will be responsible for assisting with training, motivating, counseling and monitoring the performance of the service department staff. In addition, you will be responsible for writing up repair orders, maintaining at or an above average CSI score and follow-up with guest issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.

Schedule : Full Time (Monday-Saturday; 2 days off)
Pay : $100,000++ (Commission Role - GP on ROs, CSI & Total Shop GP)

Job Responsibilities
Interact with customers to assess vehicle issues and gather necessary information for repair ordersWrite accurate repair orders, detailing customer concerns, vehicle symptoms, diagnostic findings, recommended repairs, parts needed, and labor estimatesCoordinate service drive activities by monitoring work progress, and ensuring timely completion of repairsCommunicate with customers throughout the repair process to provide updates on service progress, estimated completion times, and any additional service recommendationsAssist in hiring and training of new employees within the service department, including service advisors, technicians, and portersQualifications
Previous experience in automotive service lane management and repair order writing within a dealership environmentDiagnostic skills and technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair proceduresExcellent communication and customer service skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to write accurate and comprehensive repair ordersProficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive service software systemsLeadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team to achieve department goalsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredValid driver's license with a clean driving record (3 year minimum)Additional Information
