Mechanical Designer (New Freedom)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in mechanical design using Creo and Windchill PDM, and a passion for continuous learning and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a solid experience in sheet metal modeling and mechanical assemblies, with an interest in expanding into electrical design tools and electronic component layout.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using design data and documentation through Windchill PDM.
• Create detailed sheet metal models and drawings with precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Support integration of electronic components into mechanical designs.
• Learn and apply AutoCAD Electrical for basic electrical layout tasks with provided training.
• Communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
