Position Title : Associate Dentist

Location : Gaithersburg, MD

Status : Full-Time

We are helping our client find a highly motivated, skilled, and personable Associate Dentist to join their established practice in Gaithersburg, MD. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dentist who values a supportive, patient-focused environment and is interested in continued clinical development and mentorship.

The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and confident bedside manner, strong communication skills, and 3–5 years of clinical experience. This practice offers a dynamic, collaborative team environment with extensive support and advanced technology.

Practice Summary :

  • Serving the community since 2011
  • 9 doctors and 4 hygienists
  • 22 operatories
  • Active patient base : 9,050
  • Average of 130 new patients per month
  • Payer mix : 20% fee-for-service / 80% PPO
  • Specialty services offered in-office : Orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics
  • Schedule : Monday – Thursday 7 : 00 am – 4 : 00 pm; Friday 7 : 00 am – 2 : 00 pm

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with an active Maryland license in good standing
  • At least 3–5 years of clinical experience
  • Completion of a general dentistry residency program preferred
  • Highly proficient in all aspects of general dentistry with a focus on comprehensive and preventive care
  • Ability to examine, diagnose, and treat patients effectively
  • Strong desire and willingness to continue learning and improving
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build long-term relationships with patients
