Cardiac Cath Lab RN

SUMMARY : Assist physician during diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures; responsible for patient preparation, making sure room is set up properly, and operation of highly sophisticated imaging, monitoring and data recording equipment. Assumes a primary responsibility for the well being of the patient.

Required Education / Training : Graduate from a nursing program

Required Licensure / Certification / Registration : Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS; ACLS (within 6 months of hire)

Preferred Education / Training : BSN / MSN ; graduate from an accredited nursing program

Preferred Experience : Recent cath lab or interventional radiology experience; critical care or emergency room experience

Preferred Licensure / Certification / Registration : CCRN, RCIS, or RCES certification
