This position reports to Analytical R&D Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will support the development of projects and identify the budget for a specific functional area. The R&D Team Manager plays an important role, driving and fostering a culture of innovation within the department while assisting the R&D Manager to plan and manage R&D activities and resources. Reporting to the R&D Analytical Technology Manager, you will be in charge of R&D Engineers in order to meet the requirements of product development projects. The work model for the role is : Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division. You will be mainly accountable for :

• Team leadership : Leads and manages complex projects and coordinates work of multi-location and cross functional team / s. Motivates and monitors internal and / or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones
• Mentoring and coaching : Coaches and mentors R&D (Research and Development) team members and supports professional development and talent pipeline.
• Ensures projects follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard ABB internal procedures as well as external standards that influence activities and targets.
• Cross collaboration with other ABB R&D sites and platforms available to support the NPI development Coordinates activities with product and R&D tech manager to align on goals and priorities with taking ownership of the deliveries.
