What were looking for

Were hiring a Staff Backend Engineer with :

8+ years of backend engineering experience and strong CS fundamentals.

Proven success architecting and scaling backend systems for millions of users and transactions.

Deep experience with accounting / ledgering systems (e.g., balances, reconciliation, financial data pipelines).

A track record of leading complex cross-team technical projects .

Bonus : exposure to crypto, fintech, or large-scale data ingestion.

What youll do

Design and scale backend systems to support millions of transactions with speed and reliability.

Lead and drive technical projects that shape the long-term scalability and performance of our platform.

Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to align systems with business needs.

Architect distributed systems, APIs, and data processing pipelines .

Mentor engineers and champion backend best practices across teams.

Continuously improve system performance, observability, and maintainability .

Tech stack youll work with

Python, Flask, GraphQL, Postgres

Distributed systems and large-scale data pipelines

Redis, Python RQ

Relational databases (Postgres preferred)
