Job Description

As a Security Guard Tech Site Access Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help prevent security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the tech, media, and telecom environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client guidelines.
  • Collaborate with on-site staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters and support a secure environment for all occupants.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
