Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for cardiac care? Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab RN to join our dynamic nursing team. In this role, you'll play an essential part in providing safe, high-quality care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab , including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care.
- Perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Provide leadership and collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge planning.
- Ensure accurate documentation, including procedure records, billing, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and risk-free environment while following hospital policies and safety protocols.
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote excellent patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education : Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.License : Active RN license in the state of Iowa (or multistate license with Iowa eligibility).Certifications :BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) RequiredACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) RequiredIowa Mandatory Reporter Training Child & Dependent Adult AbuseExperience :Minimum 2 years of RN experience in ICU, ER, or critical care preferred.Previous Cath Lab nursing experience strongly preferred.Skills & Abilities
