Description

Basic Responsibilities : Performs a variety of services and tasks necessary for the proper maintenance of the arena ice surfaces and the general ice arena area and other maintenance duties. The ideal candidate is experienced in ice resurfacing, ice arena equipment usage and maintenance, ice making and removal operations, ice resurfacing machine operation and maintenance, and a strong understanding of demands in a high-performance environment.

Previous Work Experience : Basic knowledge of ice plant operation monitoring. Two years of related experience in maintenance of ice surfaces, custodial and building maintenance, and Zamboni machine operations. Some supervisory experience preferred.

Education : High school graduate or equivalent.

Special Skills & Training : Valid Operator's License. Certified Ice Technician (CIT) certification-U.S. Ice Rinks, or other comparable industry certification (obtained within 3 years).

Start Date & Work Schedule : ASAP Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 am 4 : 30 pm. Some nights and weekends as needed. Ice Arena runs 7 days per week.
