Job Overview : The AV Foreman is responsible for the installation of commercial and professional audio visual equipment. This position requires working closely with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and clients to complete projects on time, within budget, and with excellent quality.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for running an AV project crew and will assume responsibility for effective performance and provide necessary training
- Responsible for adhering to the company’s and client’s safety guidelines
- Coordinates with the project manager to ensure productivity, job completion, and compliance with the budget
- Serves as the main on-site customer contact for questions and / or concerns
- Performs work consistently, demonstrating a detailed level of technical knowledge and being able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise

Be self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervisionMinimum of 10 years of AV installation experienceAbility to read and implement construction and signal flow drawingsHigh standards of workmanship on cabling, lacing, soldering, and crimpingAbility to test completed systems fully for both engineering specifications and operational functionalityAbility to troubleshoot and problem-solve issues as they ariseNetwork cabling is a plusCTS certifications are a plusFamiliar with Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Audio DSP Systems; manufacturer’s certifications are a plus401K with company matchingPaid Time OffSeniority level
