Position Summary :
The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for supporting the merchant team in any and all necessary tasks. This role will be integral in making sure the merchant team is able to procure and track all incoming inventory, as well as keeping both the stores and online teams informed about incoming stock.
Responsibilities :
Assist with item creation and other database management needsSupport category managers with large prebooks and PO managementExecute reorder process for all store locations and onlineValidate NetSuite POs with OEM systemsEnsure NetSuite purchase order data is clean and validCollaborate with stores and DC receiving team on any necessary PO updatesOther general support that might be needed by the merchant teamRequired Qualifications :
Bachelors degreeStrong attention to detailExcellent communication and organizational skillsFamiliarity with : GSuite, NetSuite, 2ndswing.com, Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of golf industry market trendsAbove average knowledge of golf equipment and technologyPersonable and energetic with a passion for the game of golfPhysical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of standing, walking and bending.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.Compensation :
$22 - $30 per hour based on previous experience and qualifications.Full-Time Benefits :
