The Excalibur Group  is currently seeking a Consultant  for a  local contract  in  Washington, DC.

  • Will be subject to a background check prior to employment.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITES

  • Independently provides specific functional expertise in support of requirements.
  • Utilizes a deeper technical understanding of requirements to assist with analysis, evaluation, and implementation of tasks, contributing to problem solving and strategic decision making.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to leadership and program teams, offering strategic advice and innovative solutions.
  • Conduct research, assessments, and evaluations to identify challenges, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, strategies, and action plans that enhance organizational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to support program and mission success.

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree
  • If you do not have a Bachelor's, the following may be substituted :
  • High school diploma plus four (4) years of relevant experience

    • Associate degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience

  • Professional certification may be substituted for an additional year of relevant experience.
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in emergency management, homeland security, public safety, or related field preferred.

    • PAY

  • $40 / hour

    Mon. – Fri.  8 : 30am – 5pm

    Except Federal Holidays

    On-site position
