Transportation Services Coordinator
Provides prompt courteous transportation services to patients and visitors. Collaborates communication and services between IP, ED and ancillary services. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Your Job Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Healthcare provider CPR certification required
- 1 year of healthcare experience preferred
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
Your Job Responsibilities :
Transports patients throughout the hospital to various locations for medical proceduresTransports patients via wheelchair to private transportation after dischargeMonitors the scheduling system for transport requests and completes them promptlyEnsures patients are safe and comfortable during transportMaintains equipment through regular safety inspections, cleaning and storage.Enters and maintains employee's schedules and timecards, ensuring coverage and correct pay codes when neededContributes information and recommendations for action plans, productivity, customer service standards, resolving problems and implementing change when needed.Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 262-bed, full-service, acute care hospital serving Tarrant, Johnson, and Ellis counties in North Texas.
