Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to oversee and manage the leasing, buying, selling, and governance of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This short-term contract to permanent position is based in New Iberia, Louisiana, and offers a dynamic opportunity to work with homeowner associations, rented housing units, and other real estate assets.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage day-to-day operations of residential, commercial, and industrial properties, ensuring smooth and efficient governance.
  • Coordinate leasing activities, including tenant acquisition, contract preparation, and renewals.
  • Oversee property inspections and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Administer financial transactions related to property management, including rent collection and expense tracking.
  • Utilize Yardi software to maintain accurate records of property management activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize property performance and tenant satisfaction.
  • Address tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain positive relationships.
  • Organize and oversee maintenance schedules to ensure all properties are well-kept and functional.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for property repairs and improvements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on property performance and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in property management, including residential, commercial, or industrial properties.
  • Strong knowledge of leasing processes and tenant management.
  • Familiarity with Yardi software for property management operations.
  • Ability to handle financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of local property regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Problem-solving skills to handle tenant concerns and property issues effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties simultaneously.
