Northrop Grumman Space Systems Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for two Department Managers to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. These positions are in Colorado Springs and Schriever Space Force Base, CO.
This position is contingent on program funding.
Position Overview :
As part of the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC), there are many opportunities to support the U.S. Missile Defense System through the development of modeling and simulation applications and threat products used in warfighter training and exercises, concept evaluation, developmental engineering, testing and verification, and assessment. The selected Department Managers will support either the Warfighter Simulation and Services (WSS) team or the Threat Products and Services (TPS) team. These are dual-role positions encompassing both functional management and technical performance within the program. The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate strong leadership skills to achieve sustainable top performance and the ability to manage other managers. He / she will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics, integrity, and innovation while challenging traditional ways of doing business. Demonstrated abilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching, are a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, and the ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in collaborating with and leading engineering teams.

Primary Level Salary Range : $129,300.00 - $193,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
