General Job Function :   The Maintenance Technician will perform various tasks associated with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the plant's machinery and equipment. Our maintenance Technicians' main goal is to work as a team, minimizing production downtime by proactively maintaining the machines and equipment. The Maintenance Technician will be required to troubleshoot and respond to quality issues and machine and system failures.

Job Responsibilities & Duties :

Troubleshoot, adjust, repair, maintain, and rebuild machinery, tooling, and ancillary equipment throughout the plant.

Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the machine and equipment can produce quality parts safely and efficiently.

Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned, including projects or assignments to support the plant.

Working Conditions :  The maintenance technician works directly with machinery and equipment in a safety-sensitive position, frequently exposed to a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment where ambient air temperature can occasionally exceed outside air temperature.

• Must be able to bend at the waist and knees, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Must lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl under or over, and frequently climb stairs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Capable of working in confined spaces and off the ground with height variances
• Must be flexible and able to change schedule and work hours to meet the organization's needs.
