In-House Counsel – Construction Contracts

Our client — a national commercial contractor — is seeking an experienced attorney to join its in-house legal team. This role partners directly with project leadership on complex, high-value construction projects across the U.S., including data centers, industrial facilities, and healthcare infrastructure .

What You’ll Do

Draft, negotiate, and manage complex construction, EPC, and design-build contracts

Advise internal teams on risk allocation, insurance, bonding, and compliance issues

Collaborate with project executives, finance, and procurement to structure agreements that balance risk and profitability

Support dispute avoidance and resolution strategies with outside counsel as needed

Provide guidance on contractor relationships, change orders, and claims management

What You Bring

3+ years of construction law experience (in-house or firm)

Strong understanding of contract risk and project delivery methods

Proven ability to anticipate issues and translate legal language into actionable business guidance

Licensed attorney in good standing
