The Inventory Control Tech I will manage specific medical supply inventory levels throughout the Fred Hutch clinic, and its community sites.

This is a full-time position with the working hours of Friday-Tuesday 5 : 00am-1 : 30pm PT.

Responsibilities

• Uses an automated inventory control and par leveling system for the ordering, stocking / restocking of medical supplies under the scope of the supply chain management.
• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating requisitions as needed.
• Distributes medical supplies to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care.
• Identifies opportunities through the manipulation of par levels, address slow moving inventory by removing product or increasing par levels to meet departmental demand
• Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations and labeling of products.
• Acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed.
• Works with and follows instructions of the GMP Specialist in the event of recalls to pull relevant products.
• Perform monthly Expired Lot audit.
• Communicate inventory shortages to Stores Lead or Purchasing.
• Trains new workers in area operations.
• Provide vacation and sick call coverage for Inventory Techs.

Required :

50 lbs. using proper technique.

Preferred :

The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.76 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position is not eligible for H1-B sponsorship at this time.
