PenTeleData Sales Representative

The successful candidate will be responsible to accomplish sales goals that further cement our expertise and experience in the local Lancaster County area.
Responsibilities Include :
- Heavy new lead generation via phone, email and face-to-face encounters
- Generating new sales opportunities and introducing our expanded service portfolio to existing customers
- Achieving a monthly sales quota and providing projections based on a sales funnel
- Creating opportunities and documenting milestones in our CRM
- Preparing quotes and contracts for in-person presentation
- Working closely with other departments to provide the best solution to meet the customer needs
- Building relationships with chambers of commerce, economic development groups and other community centered organizations to ensure our capabilities are top of mind
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.BA / BS degree in related field or equivalent experience preferredEstablished residency in Pennsylvania and ability to come into the Palmerton office as requiredValid PA driver's license and good driving recordPrevious experience in salesPrevious experience in the telecommunications fieldFamiliarity with the local county and surrounding areaA good working knowledge of desktop computer applicationsA good working knowledge of networking and using the internetAn understanding of the technology behind Wi-Fi, routers and switches recommendedAn understanding of telephony technology including SIP, POTS, PRI and hosted voice solutions recommendedAn understanding of Ethernet networking and WAN recommendedAn understanding of cable modems recommendedExceptional lead generation skills (cold calling, canvassing, networking)Solid interpersonal and communication skillsNegotiation and project strategy skills
