How you will contribute / position summary :

The Revenue Cycle & Contracting Analyst is responsible for all activities related to the implementation, maintenance, and analysis of the Revenue Cycle and Contracting operating environments for the organization with a general knowledge of all revenue cycle functions including contracting support, benefits, billing, and cash posting. The position also supports leadership and their team members by being a subject matter expert and resource for training, questions, and escalations.

Essential responsibilities :

  • Assists team members by being a first checkpoint for guidance, escalated issues and / or training related to Sigmund system.
  • Manages Sigmund system setup and maintenance including but not limited to : payer contracts, EDI setup, services, rates, new locations, adding and removing users.
  • Updates and ensures accuracy of payer contract files via contract management system.
  • Provides system related training documentation support.
  • Acts as project lead and point of contact for various revenue cycle initiatives such as merchant services and other third party vendors.
  • Completes all registrations for Payor Portals as well as user login management
  • Supports EFT setup and changes
  • Runs basic reporting and data as assigned by leadership.
  • Coordinates with leadership to prioritize assignments based on current issues and business needs.
  • Ensures work is performed in compliance with all company and regulatory requirements, protecting the privacy of client information.
  • Communicates essential information to all necessary team members in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Leverages internal systems to query market data in support of strategic planning initiatives.
  • Coordinates with Revenue Cycle leadership and Contracting to manage escalated payor claims issue resolution.
  • Collaborates with external vendor to facilitate credentialing activities to maintain compliance.
  • Additional responsibilities :

  • Provides backup for revenue cycle team as needed.
  • Attends internal and external meetings and trainings, as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • What we are seeking / education and experience :

    Position requires an associate's degree, bachelor's degree preferred, and two (2) years of directly related experience. Equivalent combination of training, education, and / or experience can be substituted for the education requirement.
