NOW OFFERING DAILY PAY

The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team.

Registered Dietitian (RD) Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition the successful candidate will :

Assess the nutritional needs of residents by completing the necessary clinical nutritional assessments
Providing nutrition counseling and education for residents and family
Working with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care is provided to all residents
Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process
Possess the ability to creatively problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision
Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities
Rotating holidays and weekend work required

Have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups (physicians, nursing, ancillary staff, residents and family members)

Strong verbal, written and communication skills

Strong time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player

Registered Dietitian (RD) Requirements :

Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Eligible (with DI Verification Statement)

Comfortable with enteral nutrition

Strong oral and written communication skills

Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations a plus

Salary : up to $90,000 annually
