Nocturnist opening in Minnesota Located in Mankato, MN - Minneapolis-St. Paul one hour away Seeking a board certified or eligible hospital medicine nocturnist to join an established department. This physician will provide comprehensive cross-coverage admissions to all patients referred to the service. You may expect a busy practice in a physician led financially stable organization, committed to both high high-quality patient care and patient satisfaction. Full-time 7 on / 7 off 12 hour shifts Work 161 shifts per year 8 hospitalists cover Medical / Surgical and Progressive Care units 7a-7p; 1 non-rounding Medical Officer of the Day 7a-7p; 2 swing shift APP admitters 7a-7p & 11a-11p; 2 physicians and 1 APP cover 7p-7a Common EMR / PACS across all sites Multi-specialty clinic attached Must be eligible for Minnesota medical license and Board Certification / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or in final year of ACGME accredited program leading to certification.
