Security Professional - Unarmed Telecom Site

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Telecom Site in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated tech-focused locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Wed 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Fri 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, reporting findings according to company and client procedures.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and / or local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
  • Support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property within a technology-focused location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
