About the Role

A high-profile digital content creator is seeking a skilled and reliable Video Editor to join their team. The focus is on producing engaging, in-depth, video essay-style content for a major YouTube channel. This is a full-time, remote position where you’ll help maintain the established tone and style of the channel while delivering polished, professional videos.

Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality, video essay-style content for the creator’s main YouTube channel
  • Consistently meet deadlines, with a standard 48-hour turnaround per project
  • Collaborate closely with the creator and their team to uphold the channel’s voice and aesthetic
  • Review and incorporate feedback efficiently while minimizing repetitive revisions
  • Ensure videos are finalized, polished, and ready for upload

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a video editor, preferably with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Strong storytelling instincts, pacing skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver consistently under tight deadlines
  • Experience editing YouTube content, especially video essays, is a strong plus
  • Ability to maintain an established style without major shifts
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
