School Therapist, Kansas City

Description

Social Work p.r.n. is recruiting a School Therapist (part-time or full-time) for a temporary or temp-to-perm position in KCMO for the 2025-2026. The School Therapist would be responsible for helping students cope with personal and psychological issues that affect their school performance, behavior, and socialization.

Responsibilities include :

• Provide counseling for elementary and middle school students
• Assist staff in working with challenging students
• Maintain treatment plans and progress notes for students receiving counseling services

Position Requirements

Candidates must have a masters degree from an accredited school of social work and a Missouri LCSW or LMSW (with current clinical supervision). Prior experience providing therapy with children / adolescents is strongly preferred.
