Youth Sports League Director - Orange County

About Us : Breakthrough Sports is dedicated to providing high-quality youth sports programs that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and fun. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Youth Sports Director to lead our league operations and ensure a positive experience for all participants, parents, and coaches. Position Summary : The Youth Sports League Director oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all leagues including basketball, volleyball, flag football and soccer. This includes scheduling, staffing, communication, and maintaining the overall quality and safety of the program. Key Responsibilities : Oversee day-to-day operations of all leagues. Recruit, train, and supervise coaches and game-day staff. Develop and manage practice and game schedules. Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, coaches, and facility partners. Ensure league rules, safety guidelines, and sportsmanship standards are followed. Manage player registration, team formation, and uniform / equipment distribution. Coordinate with referees and ensure fair, fun competition. Organize end-of-season events and awards. Track participation data and assist with marketing and community outreach. Qualifications : A minimum of five years experience running youth sports leagues at a high level. Experience in youth sports management, coaching, or recreation coordination. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work evenings and weekends during league seasons..
