Small Cell Technician I

Description

• This company is a tier 1 vendor for all the major carriers as well as multiple industry service providers including tower and fiber companies.
• They provide turn key solutions for their customers including site acquisition, site development, integration and maintenance.
• They are currently looking for a wireless technician to help with construction of small cell sites.
• They will provide a company vehicle while on contract.
• They are looking for a Small Cell Technician .
• The main responsibility for this tech is to help build the small cell itself.
• Mounting and connecting all things in the shelter.
• This includes, antennas, radios, batteries, cooling systems and alarms. In addition they will be plugging power, fiber, and coax into specific ports and need to be familiar with this process.
• Experience with tools, power tools, testers, and understanding safety protocols.
• There will be a split of sites that are constructed on the ground on poles.
• The technician needs to be comfortable working out in cold / hot weather, and lifting 50+ pounds on the construction site.
• They have been awarded multiple small cell sites for construction in the Baltimore DC and Northern Virginia Market. The majority of the work will be done in DC and NOVA.
• The goal of the team will be to produce nearly 2 sites per day.
• They work as a team, they will ensure that the technician works 40+ hours even if they need them to support the tower crews from the ground, the electrical team, or the warehouse staff.
• This is a 5-6 month contract with the opportunity to go perform based on work performance and small cell workload. Open to light travel with the slight potential to stay over night (SE PA).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 / hr.
