Summary
Assists the physician and technician in the clinic to optimize patient flow. Perform basic specialized visual fields service and patient care tasks under strict supervision of a physician.
Education
High School Diploma or GED

Essential Functions / Job Duties
Performs perimetry testing for multiple physician requests (Goldman and automated visual fields)Maintains and performs calibration of visual field instrumentsMust be skilled at keyboard usage, data entry, and familiar with electronic health records usageChecks for patient arrival, prepares for the patient to be seenPrepares exam rooms including cleaning slit-lamps and other areas prior to rooming patientPerforms various diagnostic tests as directed to include Topography, Pachymetery, and TonometryDilate patientsE-prescribe prescriptions to pharmacyChecks and calls no show patients (document this in chart)Stocks rooms with supplies and dropsPrep patients for injectionsTakes directions from manager, physicians and technicians to perform other duties as needed / assignedPhysical Demands
