Medical Director PACE Program
Schedule : Full-time, on-site Monday Friday (no weekends)
An innovative, mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Director to lead a brand-new, state-of-the-art PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) clinic. Provide direct primary and preventative medical care to PACE participantsOversee day-to-day clinical operations and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standardsRecruit, train, supervise, and evaluate clinical staff including physicians and advanced practice providersSupport a multidisciplinary team delivering coordinated, holistic careLead and oversee quality improvement and utilization management initiativesServe as a medical consultant on participant grievances, appeals, and care decision-makingBuild and maintain collaborative relationships with hospitals, SNFs, long-term care facilities, and community providersEnsure robust documentation and compliance with all PACE program requirementsParticipate in committees and provide thought leadership on best practices and evidence-based careQualifications :
MD or DO with active board certification in geriatrics, complex care, palliative care, home-based care, internal medicine, or related fieldsCurrent, unrestricted medical license in CaliforniaCurrent DEA certificateFive or more years of clinical practice with at least two years serving an elderly or frail populationPrevious experience in PACE, SNF, or complex senior care models preferredBilingual a plus, though not requiredPassion for mission-driven care and improving outcomes for high-risk seniors
