Staff Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer - Databricks SME (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines using Databricks notebooks and workflows

Optimize Spark jobs for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency

Design and implement data lakehouse architectures and collaborate with stakeholders to develop data solutions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and 8+ years of experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data analyst

5+ years of experience in big data engineering and analytics

Experience with cloud platforms, ML, and data cataloging tools

Understanding of data privacy and protection regulations
