Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with dual ARRT (R) and (CT) credentials for a multimodality role covering CT and X-Ray in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma teaching environment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position covers both CT and X-Ray modalities in an emergency department setting
  • Multimodality technologist supporting adult, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic cases
  • Facility is a Magnet recognized Level 1 trauma teaching hospital
  • Day shifts are 3x12 hours, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM, including every third weekend
  • No on-call required
  • Possible floating to similar units within clinical scope as needed
  • Uses Siemens imaging equipment and Epic EMR with PACS integration
  • Radiation badge must be provided by the clinician's agency
  • Candidates may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)
  • Teal blue top and black bottoms scrubs required
  • All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of application; approvals are subject to manager / unit needs
  • Previous staff must be separated from the health system for at least one year before returning as a traveler
  • Parking is available for a one-time fee with costs for nights and weekends
  • Module-based training must be completed pre-start
  • Travelers may only be submitted to one unit or facility at a time

  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience in CT and X-Ray required
  • Current ARRT (R) and (CT) certifications required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
  • SCRQSA certification required
  • Emergency, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic imaging experience highly preferred
  • Experience with Siemens equipment, Epic, and PACS highly preferred
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
  • Must provide SSN and driver’s license for consideration
  • Radius rule of 60 miles applies; local candidates considered at adjusted rate
  • License required if applicable
