This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do

  • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.
  • Follow existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • EPA Universal Certificate
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders, and the ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
