Join a dynamic team in Fontana, CA, where your mechanical and electrical expertise will help keep production running smoothly. As a General Maintenance Technician II, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and infrastructure throughout the facility, ensuring everything operates safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Install and modify equipment based on engineering plans and technical specs.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues by observing equipment behavior and identifying irregularities.
  • Disassemble machinery to access and replace worn or faulty components.
  • Inspect parts for damage, wear, or dimensional changes.
  • Weld and fabricate metal structures and components as needed.
  • Replace defective parts and install specialized equipment.
  • Clean, lubricate, and test machinery to ensure peak performance.
  • Conduct safety checks and performance tests on repaired or new installations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Use hoists, cranes, and various hand / power tools to remove and install parts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and other machinery.
  • Conduct routine inspections and servicing of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping protocols.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned.

What You Bring :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Vocational or technical training in mechanical / electrical maintenance.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Skilled in torch cutting and arc welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to work any shift as needed.
