Job Description :
We are in search of a professional and passionate Occupational Therapist who will provide effective and efficient rehabilitation to patients in our fast-paced and dynamic setting. The occupational therapist accurately assesses and identifies deficits in a patient’s ability to perform activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) relative to physical, cognitive, and / or psychological impairments.
Develops an individualized treatment plan with patient-centered goals that therapeutic interventions and the use of ADLs will accomplish. This may include adaptation or modification of the environment or objects within the environment to facilitate engagement and participation.
Responsibilities :
- Performs patient assessment, treatment, and discharge planning and collaborates with other healthcare providers.
- Documents patient care and billing information promptly and follows department standards.
- Communicates with co-workers and other professionals, including physicians and nurses, as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
- Functions as a team member in the care of patients and in mentoring other staff.
- Maintains clinical productivity standards.
- Maintains technical and clinical expertise through ongoing clinical education.
- Participates in in-services, staff meetings, quality activities, and aspects of program development.
- Maintains awareness of patient safety issues within the clinic and equipment use. Assists in the maintenance of patient care equipment as needed.
- Participates in student education programs
- May have other duties assigned as needed.

Occupational Therapy bachelor's degree acquired from an Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) accredited program.
