Job Title : Phlebotomist III - Floater

Location : Minneapolis, MN 55406

Duration : 3 months+

Shift : 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate : $25 / hr. on W2

Job Summary :

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of our organization for patients, whether they are visiting for routine health checks or critical diagnostic information. The PSR II is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing while maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and professionalism. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills to establish trust and confidence with patients. The PSR II may be assigned to a doctor's office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily tasks accurately and promptly under the supervision of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and safe environment.
  • Confidently perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties in accordance with established protocols.
  • Verify patient demographic information, obtain patient initials and signature post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling of specimens.
  • Maintain required records and documentation accurately and timely.
  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, co-workers, and the public by demonstrating professionalism and organizational commitment.

Job Requirements :

  • Ability to produce high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

  • Must have :

    • Reliable transportation

  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record (if applicable)
  • Must be able to travel and work flexible hours across multiple locations with minimal notice.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated superior customer service focus and the ability to communicate clearly and openly with supervisors, peers, and patients.
  • Must be adaptable and embrace change in a dynamic work environment.
  • Training locations may vary depending on trainer availability.

    • Required Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent - Required

    • Required Work Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience.
