Psychiatrist - Inpatient Per Diem - Westbrook

Per Diem - MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH) at MaineHealth Spring Harbor Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatrist to join a dynamic medical staff in Westbrook, Maine. The Psychiatrist will utilize a diverse, multidisciplinary care team. These care teams are made up of advanced practice professionals, nursing, social work, discharge planning, psychiatric technicians, an employment specialist, programming specialists and a family navigator all leading to a well-rounded compliment to help patients with the care they need with a focus on the complex biopsychosocial presentations that are common in mental healthcare delivery today.

Minimum Qualification :

• Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School. Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and / or fellowship training.
• Current or eligible licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine.
• Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or be eligible for examination by the American Board as documented by written evidence.
• Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry.
• Current DEA Registration Certificate.
• 3+ years' experience inclusive residency and / or fellowship training.
• Meet other credentialing criteria defined in Medical Staff By-laws
