SUMMARY OF POSITION

This individual is passionate about the aesthetic industry, strives to be on the forefront of the industry, loves working with all staff to support patient visits, educate patients, create long-lasting relationships, work in a team environment, and serve as a brand ambassador. Must be outgoing, efficient, self-sufficient, and display strong organizational skills, innovation, attention to detail, ability to prioritize effectively and work in a fast-paced environment, while interfacing with office staff, management, and most importantly patients. Leads with a positive spirit and polished professional appearance each and every day.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing excellent service and support to patients and providers they are assigned to work with. This individual will set up treatment rooms as needed for visits; ensure rooms, supply closets and lab areas are clean, stocked and organized; maintain the care environment; and triage client phone calls and visit needs. In addition, the Medical Assistant is expected to prepare patients for treatment, confirm all intake forms are complete and pertinent visit information is documented accordingly, and provide pre & post care verbal & written instructions. Additional responsibilities include the proper administration of pre & post treatment photos; education and promotion of additional services offered by the practice; and conducting follow-up patient communication in a timely fashion. This individual must communicate effectively with all providers and staff to ensure each patient's experience is exceptional.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-year Medical Assistant experience
  • Prior aesthetic medicine, medical, dermatology, or plastic experience preferred
  • Knowledge of skin anatomy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Punctual
  • Ability to respond accordingly and in a timely fashion when directed by supervisor(s)
  • Ability to work independently while functioning in a team environment
  • Excellent etiquette, professional appearance, and a positive attitude
  • High level of organization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and pivot quickly
  • Excellent at building patient relationships, satisfaction, and loyalty
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Nextech, internet, computer use, general office, and photography equipment
