Join our team as a Material Handler and give significantly to our high-reaching mission to offer flawless manufacturing solutions! You will work in an innovative facility in Pittsburg, KS, where safety and organization are our top priorities.
- Ensure all relevant safety protocols are followed and report any unsafe conditions or potential hazards to the Production Manager or the designated staff member.
- Operate forklift trucks and advise supervisors regarding shortages.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Inform the Production Supervisor / Team Leader or another appropriate team member about any concerns regarding equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.
- Receive, stock, pick, issue, and deliver materials within performance guidelines to assure the happiness of internal and external customers.
- Perform routine duties such as keeping packers and machine operators supplied with parts and materials, and removing completed items to the storage area or next workstation.
You Have :
High school diploma or equivalent experienceMinimum 1 year's production work experience preferred.Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and the ability to promote compliance with them.Skill in analytical thinking and problem-solving.Skill in communicating effectively through oral and written communications.Ability to meet the physical and environmental demands :Bend, squat down, and reach above your head.Climb stairs and ladders.Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Work in confined spaces.We Have :
