As a Security Officer Utilities Patrol Part-Time in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with site personnel, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tuesday 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wednesday 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thursday 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Friday 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the utility location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Assist with access control by observing entrances and exits during patrols and reporting any irregularities.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
