The Senior Electrical Engineer 3 will lead projects as a project manager or the lead engineer for the delivery of large and highly complex projects. They will work closely with a team of engineers and consultants to provide project direction, engineering solutions, and advice to clients to ensure positive outcomes. Primary responsibilities will include project management, engineering analysis, design and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings. Additional responsibilities include working within the project's monetary budget, leading training and mentoring efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.

Principal Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for the analysis of electrical systems; Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards
• Performs site assessments and generates detailed analysis and technical reports
• Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively. Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication
• Provide in-process design reviews of electrical system design, calculations, specifications, and project correspondence. Implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards and client requirements
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff
• Provide technical assistance in resolution of field issues with minimal support from senior staff
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering; Lead research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work; Identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with electrical systems
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals
• Lead project interviews and project presentations

Physical Requirements

Salary Range $112,000 - $170,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
