About The Position

Job Title : Registered Radiologic Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Cath Lab Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of related work experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.

License : Current Radiology License

Certifications : ARRT and current BLS required

Must-Have : Previous experience in Cardiac, ECG interpretation, or special procedures required.

Description :

The Registered Radiologic Technologist is responsible and accountable for providing radiologic services.

Services must be provided at appropriate levels to all patients in all settings served by the Cath Lab.

Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

The role involves problem-solving and decision-making skills.

The technologist should be able to stand and walk, bend, squat, and twist for extended periods.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds of equipment is necessary.

The ability to push in excess of 150 pounds, including patients and equipment, is required.

Occasionally, the role involves lifting patients with assistance, weighing 125 pounds or more.

Spending prolonged periods in front of computer screens utilizing keyboards and mice is common.

Quick responses in emergency situations such as CPR and equipment retrieval are essential.

Handling critical and highly stressful situations efficiently and calmly is necessary.

A keen sense of hearing and visual acuity is needed to respond to changing patient conditions.

Flexibility with daily starting and ending times is required.

Availability for on-call coverage after hours, on holidays, and weekends is expected.

The role requires the ability to work regular scheduled shifts and potential overtime.

This position is deemed safety-sensitive in accordance with applicable regulations.

Physical demands must be met to successfully perform essential job functions.
