Corporate Attorney – Mid-Level (5+ Years)

Location : Phoenix, AZ or Scottsdale, AZ

Employment Type : Full-Time

Compensation : $200,000–$250,000 base salary + bonus eligibility

Benefits : Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other full benefits

About the Opportunity

Our client, a distinguished Am Law 200 firm , is seeking a mid-level Corporate Attorney to join its Corporate Business Unit in either its Phoenix or Scottsdale office. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a nationally recognized firm with a robust corporate practice and play a key role in complex, high-value transactions across diverse industries.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of corporate and transactional documents , including entity formation and governance documents, operating agreements, supply and purchase agreements, compliance materials, and merger and acquisition (M&A) agreements
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on corporate governance, compliance, and business operations
  • Manage and participate in all aspects of corporate transactions from due diligence to closing
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and directly represent clients in business negotiations
  • Maintain client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives within the firm’s Arizona practice

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active member of the Arizona State Bar (required)
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate law , ideally gained at a reputable firm
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating a wide variety of corporate and transactional documents
  • Excellent attention to detail , analytical ability , and written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional growth
  • Stable employment history with consistent progression in responsibilities
  • Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical excellence, commercial acumen, and client-service focus. Candidates with experience in M&A, corporate governance, and complex commercial transactions are preferred. Business development experience is a plus.
